Ski Season is on it’s way to Aspen – Stoked at the Ski Shop

Ski Season in AspenWinter Stoke for the 2014/2015 season at Hamilton Sports is at an all time high! The complete collections of KJUS and Peak Performance outerwear have arrived, as well as our Blizzard, K2 and Kastle skis -just to name a few! What do we love most about our ski outerwear lines this year? Attention to comfort.  Extra venting options and increased fabric breathability allows for optimal body climate control while luxurious European goose down fills keep you toasty warm on the slopes or out and about in town.

And yes, you will need those down jackets as soon as today! P.S. it’s snowing right now in town! According to Aspenweather.net, a cold front is moving into Aspen with expected snow accumulation throughout the week. With these frosty temps, snow guns are beginning to blow snow on the mountains; a sure sign that ski season is quickly approaching.  Ajax and Snowmass mountains are gearing up for a Thanksgiving weekend opening.

With the developing winter weather this week, it’s time to start thinking ski services! We are currently accepting binding mounts and ski tuning will begin Thanksgiving week. In the market for new skis? Come in and try any of our brand new 2015 ski rental fleet. Our three-day, try-to-buy demo program allows you to test and compare multiple skis before you buy. Bonus: after demoing, you will receive 10% off your entire ski and binding purchase.

Last, but not least, we would like to introduce the newest member of the Hamilton Sports family: Rugby! Rugby is a six and a half month old, tri-color, Pembroke Welsh Corgi that we rescued from Tucson, AZ. His interests include: helping assistant manager Cody Ratledge test ski bindings, Big Wrap burrito droppings and chasing tennis balls around Hamilton Sports. He loves kids of all ages and would love for you to come in and say hi!

Our fall ours are Monday through Saturday, 10am – 5pm and Sunday, 11am to 4pm.

Happy first snow!
