Blizzard Anomaly 88

The Blizzard Anomaly 88 is a powerful all-mountain ski for advanced and expert skiers who value edge grip, stability and speed. At 88mm underfoot, it has enough versatility for changing mountain conditions while retaining the precision of a ski that loves a carved turn.
Blister’s testing of the Anomaly 88 found it exceptionally smooth and planted for its width, with very good edge hold on firm snow and impressive stability when making faster, larger turns. That makes it an excellent match for carving fast laps on Aspen Mountain or Snowmass, especially when conditions are firm or variable. It can venture into bumps and off-piste terrain, but its real personality emerges when there’s room to open it up and let it run.

Blizzard Canvas 108

New to Blizzard’s freeride collection, the Canvas 108 brings a distinctly more playful personality to the lineup. At 108mm underfoot with generous rocker and a lighter construction, it’s designed to float, smear and pivot through soft snow while remaining surprisingly capable when the mountain isn’t completely covered in powder.
POWDER described the Canvas 108 as a major departure for Blizzard: an athlete-influenced, progressive twin-tip designed around fun and freeride skiing rather than the brand’s traditionally directional feel. In Aspen, think fresh tracks in Highland Bowl, soft snow and natural features at Snowmass, or a storm day when you’re searching out powder stashes rather than perfectly carved turns. Blizzard Rustler 9

The Rustler 10 takes the easy, playful character of the Rustler 9 and adds more width and flotation for skiers who spend more time hunting soft snow. It’s strong enough to ski aggressively but easy to release and pivot, giving it an excellent combination of stability, maneuverability and freeride versatility.
At roughly 102mm underfoot, the Rustler 10 sits in an especially useful Western all-mountain category. Blizzard positions it as a ski that’s equally at home on powder days and the many days in between, with a rockered tip and tail, camber underfoot and its FluxForm Freeride Ti construction. It’s a particularly good Aspen Highlands or Snowmass choice when there’s fresh snow to explore, yet it remains composed enough for the groomed runs and variable conditions you’ll inevitably encounter between powder laps. Blister found the Sheeva 10 particularly at home in softer snow, where its combination of maneuverability and stability allows a skier to change turn shapes easily as terrain and snow conditions change. Its quickness also makes it especially effective in moguls, trees and tight terrain. This is the Sheeva we’d look toward for a powder day at Aspen Highlands or Snowmass, especially for an advanced or expert skier who wants one ski that can keep exploring long after the untracked snow is gone.
