Faction Dancer 89

The redesigned Dancer 89 takes Faction’s all-mountain personality in a lighter, more accessible direction. At 89mm underfoot, it is quick enough for groomed snow and short turns while providing enough platform and rocker to comfortably move beyond the trail. A lightweight poplar core keeps the ski lively and maneuverable, while Faction’s oversized 2.5mm edges add durability and confident grip without relying on metal laminates.
Testing of the new Dancer 89 has emphasized exactly that combination. SkiEssentials found it exceptionally quick edge-to-edge, lively and capable of making a wide variety of turn shapes, with particularly strong performance on groomers and moguls. It is an excellent choice for skiers who want an energetic ski that doesn’t demand the power or commitment of a heavier metal construction.

Faction Dancer 89 Ti

The Dancer 89 Ti takes the same versatile 89mm platform and adds two exceptionally thin sheets of Titanal above and below the poplar core. The result is more stability, stronger edge hold and a calmer feel at speed without turning the ski into an overly heavy charger. It rewards a skier who likes to drive the ski and carve with authority, but it retains enough agility to leave the groomers and head into bumps and tighter terrain.
Powder7’s testing of the redesigned Dancer 89 Ti singled out its groomer performance, praising its intuitive turn entry, strong edge hold and energetic rebound. What makes it especially interesting as an Aspen demo ski is that the additional power doesn’t eliminate Faction’s trademark maneuverability—the 89 Ti remains comfortable when the terrain becomes more technical rather than demanding that you stay on wide-open pistes all day.

Faction Prodigy 2.0

The Prodigy 2 has become one of Faction’s defining skis for good reason. At 98mm underfoot with a twin-tip shape, poplar core and progressive flex, it sits in the sweet spot between all-mountain versatility and freestyle playfulness. It has enough width for softer snow, enough edge and energy for groomers, and the balanced feel that makes it natural for jumps, side hits, switch skiing and creative lines.
For 2026–27, Faction has kept the proven Prodigy 2 construction largely unchanged, and independent testing continues to highlight just how broad its range is. SkiEssentials describes it as equally at home in trees, bumps, groomers, park terrain and powder. That makes it a particularly good demo choice for skiers who don’t want their ski—or their day—to be defined by one type of terrain.

Faction Studio Grom FS

The brand-new Studio Grom FS brings Faction’s high-performance freestyle approach to younger skiers rather than simply scaling down an ordinary junior ski. Built using the same process as Faction’s adult skis, it features a lively poplar core, twin-tip construction, elliptical sidecut and balanced rocker designed to make turns intuitive while giving progressing young skiers the platform they need to explore freestyle skiing.
Faction designed the Studio Grom FS specifically for young skiers progressing into park features and more creative all-mountain skiing. Reinforced sidewalls, tip and tail caps and substantial 2.2mm edges add durability, while the shape makes it manageable on regular trails as well as in the park. It’s a legitimate performance ski for the younger skier who’s ready for something beyond basic junior rental equipment.
