Kastle MX89 Skis
No details were left undone in the design of the Kastle MX89, and it shows in a ski that performs like none other. It’s 89 mm chassis truly makes this a universal ski with a was it width that can handle the vast majority of conditions. If you’ve got the skill, power and strength to handle this next generation KAstle ski the MX89 can handle every piece of the mountain and doesn’t care what the speedometer says. Made with two sheets of metal to keep it gripping you get a stiff but even-flexing ski. The Silver Fir wood core gives it the snap out of the turn that those familiar with Kastle have grown to not just love but live for. Tthe rubber was an innovate addition that keeps the ski from chattering, feeling like you’re on rails.
The Kastle MX89 skis like a GS ski with the stiffness and edging ability to lock onto powerful arcing turns with ease. The extra width in the ski is what makes it so versatile and step into the category of an all mountain ski.
The MX89 has been around for over five years now, there was a significant improvement for 2018, the new contact point structure. The contact point and widest point on older MX lines was all the way at the very tip and the very tail of the ski. Kastle has brought the contact point for both the tip and tail of all MX skis in closer towards the middle of the ski giving it a tighter turn radius.
This is not a ski for intermediates as it requires power and experience, this ski can do whatever you want but you have to drive it.
